A quick tip this week, and then I'm off to the Scrapbook Expo at Hofstra. It's easy to get overwhelmed with all the embellishments out there, especially if you've accumulated a lot of "stuff" like I have. The best way to keep yourself from spending more time on choosing the embellishments than it did to make the memory is to limit yourself to 3 embellishments or types of embellishment. This keeps the focus on your photos, yet gives you some creative options. It also takes the pressure off.
It's OK to change your mind and switch out one embellishment for another, and it's OK to use 2, 4, or even no embellishments at all. It's your layout, your scrapbook, and your decision. Trust yourself and have fun! I'm off to shop! Remember to check back next week for another cool scrapbooking tip.
