Holiday Card Throwback (not really!) #11: Winter Birthday Cards

Hi there!  Today's throwback isn't really a throwback, in the sense that it isn't a video walk down Memory Lane.  Today I decided to make some birthday cards for a birthday RAK (Random Acts of Kindness) group that I belong to.  Since I wanted to get a head start on my January cards, and since I still had my box of Christmas stamps out, I thought I would use a snowflake background stamp. Almost all the supplies I used were quite old.   A full supply list, with links to where you can buy them, will be at the end of this post.  If you'd like to know how I made these, please leave a comment below to let me know.  Thanks for visiting, and Happy Holidays!

Supplies (Amazon Affiliate Links - I received no compensation from any of the companies who make these products, and using the links provides me with a very small amount of money at no extra cost to you.  Thanks!)

Hero Arts Snowflake Background Stamp (I used one by Impression Obsession, but this one is very similar.)
Heavy grey cardstock (Michael's)
W Plus 9 Basic Banners stamps and die set
Snowflake sequins (Michael's)

Holiday Card Throwback #7: Snowmen in the Forest

Here's another throwback from 2017 by Gina K.  Even if you don't have this stamp set, you probably have similar stamps in your stash.  I love mixing and matching stamps from different sets to make something fun and creative!  This video is a bit on the long side, but Gina teaches some simple, useful techniques, so I think it's well worth the time.  I hope you like it, and thanks for following my Holiday Throwback Series!

Art Journal Page

I just thought I would share an art journal page that I made last night.  It was in response to a challenge on Two Peas in a Bucket, and it's also an expression of my gratitude for having come through Hurricane Sandy with only a 2-day power outage.  So many other folks didn't fare so well.
