On this page, I used my oldest supplies (Opalescent Embossing Powder and Colorbox Frost White Pigment Ink). I also used my Dylusions Spray Ink . I thought it would be fun to dig out the old supplies that don't get so much love anymore and use them on an unfinished journal page. It was a wonderful experience to combine the "unloved" with the "unfinished" to create something "loved" and "completed."
Other Supplies I Used:
I love all things creative: Card Making, Art Journaling, Scrapbooking, Jewelry Making, and more. I hope you find something here at my blog to inspire you to express your own creativity. Thanks for visiting!

Making Notepads From Scraps
If you're like me, you have a lot of left-over scraps of paper after you complete a project. Here is a short video showing what I do with the scraps I have after I've made some envelopes with my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Board. Enjoy!

Christmas in July and a Summer Sunflower
I jump-started my Christmas cards with this one. The stamp is by Outlines, and I used Copic and Spectrum Noir markers to color it in. The glitter is crystal, and it's made by Stampendous.
Here's a birthday card that I made for my sister using the sunflower dies from Spellbinders. I inked the sunflower and leaf with inks by Stampin' Up (Tangerine Tango), Palette (Sunflower), and Hero Arts (Field Greens & Cup O' Joe). I adhered the sunflower to the left panel of the gatefold card and the leaf to the right side. The crystal glitter is by Stampendous, and the green is a very old one from Stampin' Up. The paper is from a 6 x 6 pad by Die Cuts With a View. I used gold and clear sequins in the center.
Thanks for looking, and Happy 4th of July!!

Coloring Fun
This week I had a play date with my BFF, and I played with my Zig Clean Color markers, Gelatos, and Copic markers. (Actually, I played with the Copics last night.) Here are the results:

I haven't added any "bling" to the images yet, but I really like the way they turned out.

Wink of Stella for Le$$
I love my Wink of Stella markers. I really do. But let's face it: they're expensive. Here's a quick video showing how I get the same shimmery look using my Sakura Gelly Roll pens, which cost a lot less. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe if you like this video, and stop by again soon. Thanks!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day! Whether your Valentine is your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, partner, child, parent - or even yourself (We have to love ourselves, right?) - I hope you enjoy celebrating Love today!
Here are a few cards that I want to share with you. I made them for my children 9can't find a picture of hubby's card) with cut files from Miss Kate Cuttables. I used the Print & Cut feature with my Silhouette. I have the original machine, and these files printed and cut beautifully! Miss Kate has a free file every day, and her prices for other files are very reasonable. Other materials included: A2 card (Die Cuts With a View), vellum, patterned paper (Sweethearts by Doodlebug Design), Glossy Accents by Ranger, tiny punched hearts, a rhinestone heart, baker's twine, and embroidery floss. Thanks for visiting, and remember to always be your crafty self!
(I am not affiliated with Miss Kate in any way, nor do I receive any compensation from her.)
